We provide screen services for your event. This includes a heat counter, animated versions of your logo, special graphics for the evening show, and more. Our goal is to create and curate graphics that highlight the unique features of your event. No outside paid services like Dance Comp or Dance Vision Circuit are necessary to run the screens, but we can work with these platforms if requested. Our screen services typically include some limited social media management and videos for social media posts. At some events, we design special screens for the Saturday night show, tributes, and more. Let us know what you are looking for at your event, and we can discuss in detail the different services. Requests for more service may require an upgrade from our basic package.

Understanding Dance Comp & Dance Vision Circuit services

These two platforms provide numerous services for additional fees. Please check their websites for full details. The basic breakdown is that they pull information from COMP MANAGER & NDCA PREMIERE. This is where your Registrar inputs all the data for heat lists, results, schedule, and more. This information is available on specific COMP MANAGER web links and via the NDCA PREMIERE website when published. This information is then presented on the Dance Comp & Dance Vision Circuit websites and in their apps. If you are not using these services, this information can easily be linked to your website so that competitors have easy access to the info.

In addition, Dance Comp & Dance Vision Circuit provide links to update the heat counter throughout the event. This allows the heat on the screen to match the heat in their app. This can be managed by our team. We are also able to manage the heat counter locally without using their online service.

Things to consider when investing in these services. The main advantages are that the heat information is available to dancers when they are outside of the ballroom. In addition, Dance Comp provides additional information for display on the screen that includes the names/numbers of competitors in the current heat and upcoming heats. Another advantage is that these apps provide the heat lists & results in a prettier format. NDCA PREMIERE website also provides this, while COMP MANAGER is a simple spreadsheet design via the web links.

Disadvantages to these services. Price point, Dance Comp charges for this service, Dance Vision Circuit includes this service for members of the Dance Vision Circuit. Another disadvantage is that these services are reliant on hotel WIFI services, which are not always the most reliable and often require additional fees paid to the hotel. With these services being managed remotely, we sometimes run into technical issues that we cannot fix on site. In these cases, we will switch to locally manage the screen and heat counter. In this case, the screen in the Ballroom will be correct, but the app will display the incorrect number.
